Regional exclusive Pokémon in Pokémon GO — complete list by region
Regional exclusive Pokémon only spawn naturally in specific parts of the world. They're some of the hardest entries to complete in your Pokédex because getting them requires either travelling to the right continent or finding someone from that region willing to trade.
There are currently over 50 regional exclusive Pokémon in GO, spread across every generation. Here's a breakdown of what's where.

Including Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean

Central and South America, Caribbean

How to get regional exclusives without travelling
- •Trade with other players — The most reliable method — find someone from the right region at a GO Fest or via a local community group
- •GO Fest global events — Niantic sometimes makes regional exclusives available worldwide during special events — worth watching for announcements
- •Eggs from Adventure Sync rewards — Some regionals have historically appeared in eggs obtainable from spinning PokéStops in any region
- •Travel — The original method — if you're already visiting a new continent, target the local exclusives
Rotating regionals
Some Pokémon rotate between regions periodically. Zangoose and Seviper swap between hemispheres (Americas + Africa vs Europe + Asia + Pacific). Solrock and Lunatone similarly rotate. Check current sources like LeekDuck for which hemisphere each is currently in.
Tracking which regionals you have
Because regionals are scattered across your normal Pokédex, it can be hard to see at a glance which ones you're missing. A good tracker will show you all Pokémon in one view, making it easy to identify regional gaps before events or trades.
